Our founder

TrufacebyGrace is an innovative for profit social enterprise, a brain child of Founder Grace Yeboah Ofori who since moving from Ghana as a teenager to Canada and moving to the USA in 2014 has set out on this creative journey of preserving cultural heritage, while at the same time create, manufacture and produce unique authentic designs influenced by vast African cultures.

Our designs are inspired by the customs and traditional wear of different indigenous cultures and promotes the preservation of artisanal skills and traditional craftsmanship. The result is haute chic with a totally unique edge.

Born in Ghana inspired to create individualistic and cutting-edge designs that originate from timeless African culture and imagination, and to design fashion pieces that are impactful and fun!

We support local craftsmen and women by providing a fair, stable income and create employment opportunities by hiring a group of women to handcraft our designs using locally sourced and recycled materials as a way of preserving the environment.
